There are approximately 200 km of sign-posted paths around Kaltern ranging from flat paths to mountain paths.
Some of our tips: up the Mendel (Kaltern’s home mountain), up the Penegal to its view tower, to the ruin Leuchtenburg, through the Rastenbachklamm from the lake to Altenburg, through the Spring Valley to Lake Montiggl or round Lake Kaltern.
Bike tours can be either flat or mountainous, either through the orchards or vineyards, up the Mendel Pass or on the bike path by the river to Bozen, Trento or Lake Garda.
